What to Make of TabTrade - A New CFD Broker in 2026

TabTrade - What It Is

TabTrade launched in March 2026. Online broker incorporated in Saint Lucia, regulated by Saint Lucia's FSRA. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, the New Zealand-regulated broker.

His background matters. It means the founder is not figuring it out from scratch. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. But better than someone with no brokerage experience.

The broker opened with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same infrastructure institutional desks use. The typical new launch focuses on ads and sign-up promos. These guys went the other way. Unusual for a new broker.

The instrument list: FX, stock indices, gold, silver, oil, energies, softs, stock CFDs, cryptocurrencies, exchange-traded funds. 1,000+. For a platform that is a few months old, that coverage is broad.

Platforms

You get: MetaTrader 5, cTrader by Spotware, and web trading. Both platforms from a single account. A lot of brokers only give you one or the other. Having both makes a difference. Use whichever you prefer.

MT5 is the industry standard. Complete charts, Expert Advisors, tons of scripts and indicators. If you know MT4 or MT5 previously, it is familiar territory.

cTrader is the more modern one. Better DOM. Smoother chart interaction. Native automated trading. Many people find it more natural once they try it.

Direct FIX connectivity is offered for algo traders but is only on the VIP tier ($25k minimum). TradingView charting is apparently on the roadmap. That will make the platform set when it lands.

Accounts and Pricing

Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. Zero commission. Simple. Zero deposit requirement. Suits anyone who does not want to think about commission.

Edge. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips average. Flat commission of $3.50 per side. Total cost: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On EUR/USD, the raw spread is frequently under 0.2 pips. So your all-in cost sometimes sits under half a pip. That is cheap for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most brokers that offer pricing like this require a minimum deposit. This broker does not.

VIP. $25k to open. FIX connectivity, sub-20ms execution, tailored rates. Not relevant to most retail traders. Skip it unless you trade institutionally.

Infrastructure

The speed is the thing this broker actually does something different. Equinix data centres. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. That is proper execution targets. Most retail brokers run hundreds of milliseconds.

Should you care? If you trade small timeframes, it does. The gap between fast execution and sluggish execution is profit or loss on tight trades. If you trade higher timeframes, you probably will not feel it. The point is they invested in proper execution. That says what kind of broker this is.

Pair those fill times with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and what you get is strong. Few brokers in this bracket run Equinix connectivity.

Safety

Here is the detail that matters. Tab Trade is regulated by the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is offshore. No CySEC. No government-backed safety net. If that is a dealbreaker, this broker is not for you. Plenty of FCA-regulated options out there.

But. Benjamin Boulter came from BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The Equinix infrastructure is not cheap. Scam brokers do not bother with Equinix connectivity. That does not guarantee anything. It does factor into your assessment.

The deal: you trade regulatory safety. In exchange: high leverage, cheap spreads, no minimum deposit, Equinix execution. Whether the trade-off works is your call.

Welcome Offer

Tab Trade offers a welcome bonus of up to two thousand dollars. Standard welcome offer. You fund your account, the broker top up your balance. Usual conditions attached: minimum lots traded before you can withdraw the bonus. Check the terms before you commit.
