What to Make of TabTrade - A New CFD Broker in 2026

The Broker - What It Is

TabTrade.com went live in Q1 2026. Trading platform registered in Saint Lucia, under the FSRA. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, the FMA-regulated broker.

The BlackBull connection is relevant. It suggests the leadership knows how a proper broker operates. That is not a guarantee. It is preferable to a founder with no industry background.

TabTrade came out of the gate with Equinix data centre access in London. Same data centres institutional desks use. The typical new launch focuses on ads and sign-up promos. Tab Trade did the opposite. Unusual for a new broker.

The instrument list: forex, indices, metals, commodities, shares, crypto, ETFs. Over 1,000 instruments. For something that launched in March 2026, that range is not narrow.

The Software

You get: MT5, cTrader, and web trading. Both platforms from a single account. Many only give you one or the other. Getting both matters. Pick what suits your style.

MT5 is the industry standard. Full charting, EAs, massive community. If you have traded on MetaTrader before, there are no surprises.

cTrader is the cleaner option. Better DOM. More responsive charts. Built-in algo trading. Plenty of traders find it more natural after using both.

Direct FIX connectivity is there for automated strategies but is only on the VIP tier ($25,000 deposit). TradingView is reportedly coming. That will round things out when it lands.

Costs

Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard account. Spreads from 1.0 pips. Zero commission. Straightforward. No minimum deposit. Good for people who want simple pricing.

Edge. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Commission of $3.50 per side. All-in: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On majors, the actual interbank spread is frequently under 0.2 pips. So your all-in cost can sit under half a pip. That is cheap for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most brokers that have spreads this tight ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. This broker requires zero deposit.

VIP account. $25k to open. FIX connectivity, execution under 20ms, custom pricing. Not for the average person. Do not worry about it unless you move real size.

Execution Speed

This is where Tab Trade stands apart. Equinix servers in London. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. That is institutional numbers. The average platform operate at a much wider range.

Should you care? If you trade small timeframes, absolutely. The gap between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is the difference between. If you swing trade, you will not notice. What matters is they invested in proper execution. That signals they are not cutting corners on the tech.

Pair those fill times with the Edge account pricing and the overall offering makes sense. Not many platforms with no minimum deposit have infrastructure at this level.

Regulation

Now, the thing you need to be straight about. Tab Trade is regulated by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is tier-3. No FCA. No fund protection scheme. If the lack of tier-1 regulation is a dealbreaker, this broker is not for you. There are FCA-regulated options out there.

However. The person running it built his career at BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The server placement is expensive. Fly-by-night platforms do not pay for tier-1 data centre access. That does not make it safe. It should factor into your assessment.

What you are accepting: you give up tier-1 protection. For that: high leverage, cheap spreads, no minimum deposit, Equinix execution. Whether the trade-off is worth it depends on you.

Deposit Bonus

Tab Trade has bonus funds of up to $2,000. Typical welcome offer. You fund your account, the broker add bonus funds. Usual conditions attached: turnover conditions before bonus funds can be taken out. Check the terms before you deposit.
